Avaya appoints Todd Zerbe as senior vice president of engineering

Avaya has appointed Todd Zerbe as Senior Vice President of Engineering. He is responsible for identifying, designing and developing leading technologies that deliver increased value to global customers as part of the Avaya OneCloud experience platform.

As a transformational leader, Zerbe brings to Avaya over twenty-five years of software development and extensive cloud experience. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Product Development at Blackboard, Inc., an educational technology company. Previously, he held leadership roles with contact center solution providers including Genesys and Interactive Intelligence Group.

At Genesys, Zerbe was Senior Vice President of Product Development for their product CCaaS. Throughout his career, he has successfully managed large teams and deployments of multiple product lines with a strong emphasis on contact center technologies.
