DYNISMA REVEALS THE WORLD’S MOST ADVANCED DRIVING SIMULATOR FOR MOTOR VEHICLE AND MOTORSPORTS DEVELOPMENT
Dynisma Ltd.®, the UK-based motion simulation technology company, today released details of its new advanced DMG-1 ™ and lightweight DMG-1 Carbon ™ driving simulators. These Dynisma Motion Generators ™ (DMG), bringing a completely revolutionary approach to simulators, have been specially designed for motorsport teams who wish to optimize driver and car performance as well as for automotive manufacturers and suppliers for development and advanced vehicle testing. DMG technologies are at least 50% better than any competitor, and just as affordable.
The announcement comes shortly after the announcement that Dynasma has just completed commissioning of the world’s most advanced simulator for one of the world’s most famous racing teams, a project in development for two years.
The breadth of capabilities of the DMG-1 and DMG-1C driving simulators has been developed by a world-class team of engineers, with more than two decades of experience in driving simulation in Formula 1. Advanced technologies allow OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to perform advanced tests such as ride comfort, handling and tire development in a virtual environment where previously they could only be developed with precision on the road. They also allow complex and extreme testing of vehicle dynamics and ADAS systems to be performed in complete safety.
Saving development miles and reducing the number of handcrafted prototypes, using the ultra-realistic DMG-1 can dramatically reduce costs for automakers, decrease the environmental impact of testing and associated travel, as well as potentially shorten the time required to bring new vehicles to market.

Developed and built by a team of world-class engineers committed to revolutionary solutions in motion generation, the class-leading Dynisma DMG-1C delivers the lowest latency (less than 4ms) and bandwidth highest (> 55hz in all 6DOF) of any other simulator currently available.
Lower latency ensures the driver is able to react faster to events such as oversteer, and the system’s high bandwidth makes it easier to spot motion not possible from other conventional motion platforms. Thanks to this mechanical engineering and advanced technology, the DMG-1 accurately transfers a higher level of information to the driver, providing a much more realistic and responsive driving experience.
Dynasma’s revolutionary “Direct Drive” technology reduces friction to imperceptible levels, eliminating backlash and inertia, providing an immediate and dynamic sensory experience. The DMG-1 transmits information in the rawest possible form directly to the driver’s vestibular system.
Both DMG-1 and DMG-1C lightweight carbon composite are available as turnkey solutions or customized to specific requirements, with the ability to integrate any type of chassis, in current production or as a prototype, for motorsport or motor sport applications.
