Mouser now offers the family of antennas under the Trigger dashboard from Laird Antennas. The innovative five-port VPJ and VQJ Trigger four-port devices are IP67 rated multiport / multiband telematics antennas that provide excellent 3G / 4G / 5G / ISM / CBRS, Wi-Fi and GNSS cellular functionality for automotive and IoT applications , including transportation, public safety, asset tracking, fleet operations, and in-vehicle and on-board communications.

The antennas offer a unique L-shaped format and dual-axis VHB adhesive backing, allowing for quick and secure mounting in difficult locations. Antennas can be mounted covertly with or on bulky non-metallic objects, including fan ducts, with no drilling required. This allows devices to be mounted closer to the vehicle router or gateway, often located under the dash or a seat or in the trunk.

Each antenna is supplied with vertical and horizontal V-Pol / H-Pol cellular radiators within the same antenna to provide better coverage while providing substantial improvements in signal performance and more uniform connectivity and data rate than conventional antennas. With optimized performance and exceptional coverage around the vehicle, the family of devices can be used in dense city environments or in remote locations where signals may be weak or obstructed.
